Privacy Policy for Streak Master

Strict Privacy Commitment: Streak Master is a local-only utility. It does not transmit your files, your personal information, or any identifying metadata to our servers or any third parties.
1. Local Network Usage
Streak Master uses your local Wi-Fi network to discover other devices running the app (using mDNS/UDP protocols) and to establish a direct TCP connection for file transfer. This process is entirely local. No network traffic is sent over the internet unless you explicitly choose to use an external sync service (if available).
2. Data Permissions
To function as a file transfer tool, Streak Master requires the following high-risk permissions as defined by Google Play:
- All Files Access (`MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`): This is required and essential for the app's core functionality—to allow you to select and send any file from your device, and to save incoming files to your desired directory.
- Nearby Devices: To discover and connect to other instances of Streak Master on your local network.
- Wi-Fi State: To ensure devices are on the same network before attempting a transfer.
1. Data Collection & Processing
The Streak Master application embodies our Local-First engineering principle. By default, all primary user data generated or processed by Streak Master is stored locally on your device.
1.1 Strictly Local Operation
This is a strictly local application. It does not contain any third-party advertising SDKs or cloud-syncing modules linking back to CogniLabs servers. Your data never leaves the hardware it was created on.
